Something brilliant and vibrant and beautiful was promised here. On this ground and in this space, love was honoured and love was celebrated. when our spark was once shadowed by those that dim its light, an explosion of love was felt in its place and the words “love is Love” never sounded so bright.

Two charming grooms hosted the most beautiful wedding day at Bloom Field Gardens in Newcastle. It was sophisticated, warm, authentic and lemme tell ya, it was a party!  The day started off with getting ready shots at each grooms location and then to Newcastles Bloomfield Gardens for a sunny and beautiful ceremony. 

Seated in a stunning garden outdoors in August, guests were surrounded by deep greens of walled their and   blue skies. An inviting space that gave warmth and charm to this wedding day.  leading the ceremony was the most beautiful sounding tone with such depth that the words that sounded were felt deeply and with importance. The delivery of words with such weight and the sound of the voice speaking them are of such high value to the feeling and connection of a couples wedding ceremony.  The efficient that spoke on this day truly gave words with passion and patience and delivered a wonderful experience for this couple and their loved ones. It was truly a beautiful ceremony. 

Wedding photography at Bloomfield gardens is always a lovely experience. The grounds are vast and every direction has stunning views.  Guests enjoyed a little shade cover for mid afternoon cocktails and the most beautiful horse carousel in the back, complete with vintage lighting and sunsets. I am always really excited about sunsets and golden hour photography when I’m on location here.  When I’m at Bloomfield gardens during golden hour the photos always turn out magical.  The space available really helps to provide some diverse backgrounds and contrasting imagery to a quick sneak away session during the reception portion of the evening. 

The Wedding Party were wonderful to work with and the day seemed to have a smooth rhythm. Into the dinner and evening some amazing speeches, first dances and laughter in no short supply. To begin the evening the very talented and beautiful Queen, Tynomi Banks put on the most phenomenal show.  Presence, humour and talent while brining Whitney Houston to the party, yes please!  This combined with two grooms who were so damn charming and funny, the entire wedding tent of guest’s were belly laughing and having a such great time.  My wedding photography dreams came true this night, especially after a full wedding season shut down. I elated to finally return to my work and this was such an authentic and joy filled day to come back to!
