I’m Ashley, Durham region wedding and lifestyle photographer and mama of two. I am what some may call a Quirky turkey. I love babies and grandparents, coffee and chocolate, warm socks and fall colours. I have a pretty solid appreciation for sci-fi movies and live music.

Most importantly to you, I photograph couples and families that are looking to document important milestones in their lives. Capturing the authentic moments over perfection and celebrating love and relationships. I value family above all else and believe that love should be celebrated in all forms that honour respect, equality and kindness. I value a belly laugh over a practised smile and I will tell your story in an authentic and beautiful way. 

A quick background about me,  After studying Advertising and Design in college, I was accepted into a small business program. After completing this course I had a new found understanding of how I would become the entrepreneur I am today.  It's been 13 years since I first opened Ashley Topping Photography and feel blessed this has been my full time career ever since. I love making families and couples feel comfortable, at ease and know that no person is like another. All relationships, family dynamics and experiences are different and I want your images to reflect this.
