Thank you for taking part in this Years mini session!

This fall marks the 10th year of our annual fall mini photo sessions.  I couldn’t be more thankful for you to be here and for lending me the opportunity to capture a little happiness in an otherwise challenging year.  Now more then ever family photos are a way to put a smile on our families faces when we would normally be doing it in person. I can’t help but reflect on the last 10 years (2020 especially)  and feel even more grateful for my family and the families I get to watch grow. Thank you to my loyal clients who I have come to know over the years and the new ones that I welcome with excitement. I’m looking forward to some fun moments and capturing some beauty smiles :)  All the information you need will be found here including location, cost, payment info and suggestions that may be helpful while planning for your session.

Location :2950 Courtice road - behind the Courtice community centre & forest / trails 

The location we will be shooting at this year will be behind the Courtice community centre and nearby Courtice trails and forest. The local community centre has parking in the main, please do not park at the back of the building. Parking is at the front of the building ;) 

Upon arrival I will meet you at the back of the building where you will see a field and a row of maple trees. I’ll meet you here. Please be sure to arrive ready, dressed and hopefully not hungry lol. If you need to dress baby or have a few final details please give yourself a little extra time before your session. All of us want to take advantage of the beautiful fall colours and so in order to do so  these sessions have been booked back to back.  My goal is for everyone to take full advantage of the time available. Be sure to arrive on time, this way we can have as much opportunity as possible for some great photos.

How do I get my photos and how many ? 

You will receive a link in your email within 2 weeks with your finished gallery. The gallery is accessible for download for 2 weeks. Please be sure to download your photos and back them up onto your computer, usb and or harddrive for safe keeping as the link will expire 2 weeks from when I was sent. 

You’re session includes 10 photos. If there are too many great shots and we capture more then 10 beauties,  I will ask you to choose your favourite 10 photos for me to edit.  In addition to your 10 edited digital files I will also include the rest of the best of photos at no additional cost. 10 edited , plus the rest to enjoy!  If you would like all of your photos edited once you have seen your images beyond the 10 please inquire and I can offer a custom quote in relation to your session. Everyones family is different and some families may end up with 82 photos where some may end up with 32. Your session depends on many things..children….age…speed :) and so I find this is the best way to accommodate all clients during a busy season and allows me the ability to return all finished galleries within 2 weeks of your session date. 

What to wear ? 

Dress for the weather. In Canada, it could be sunny and 22 or windy and cold like November. You just never know. I always suggest that layering is a great idea especially if your thinking more cozy looks with  sweaters, scarfs and hats rather then big bulky winter jackets. Warm socks and fall boots, hats and cozy materials will both Keep us warm and looking in season. Colours that you see outside really compliment the fall session. Deep tones of red and yellow really pop. Jeans, navy and classic creams always look great as well. Don’t be scared of colours or patters just try to compliment each other. I do suggest that everyone dressing the same doesn’t work well and to avoid all  wearing all black. In the end your style and comfort level really come down to personal preference so be sure to choose something you are happy with! 

Payment 

Fall sessions are 175+ hst - $197 total payable by cheque , cash or emt. Payment is due the day of your session in full.

Covid safety 

During this time extra safety precautions must be taken by everyone taking part in this years mini session. Each family and myself included must all take responsibility to arrive in good health and without symptoms of Covid.  If you have any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who may have covid please cancel and reschedule your session. Understandably babies and kids do get runny noses during colder temperature.  Please be sure to bring a little Kleenex for some little noses. I will ask that we respect the 2 m physical distancing guidelines and do our best to respect each others space. The professional equipment I use allows me the ability to get high quality imagery from a distance. Close enough to give you directions and capture beautiful family photographs but far enough to keep everyone as safes possible.
