Fall sessions in Bowmanville. Family photography is at it’s best at a local park not far from the downtown area. Here sits a beautiful maple that thrives even though it’s right at the end of the fall season. Though the leaves are almost gone, this perfectly timed session right at sunset offers golden light and warm tones to enrich this family photography session with lots of light and love.
At the beginning of every September I post my fall mini sessions. It’s a great way to create a tradition of capturing the little humans before they get too big. This happens quickly. Those once beautiful bubbly toes so sweet and squishy are now those awkward stinky things that attach to the legs. It’s just, it happens fast. It happens too fast actually. I find myself sometimes searching my back up hard drives for someones photo session who has lost it or crashed their computer ( always back up your photography folks) only to find myself ugly crying over the thousands of old photos I have taken of my sweet little angel babies. So take it from a person who is currently dealing with the tween age, savour it. Snuggle, squeeze, squish, cuddle and cradle all you can while you can. It’s a cliche I know but, babies are only babies once. Something I heard a hundred times but never ever understood fully until my babies grew up.
This sweet little family was celebrating a birthday during this family photography session. With special focus on the birthday girl and some added family images we made this Bowmanville family photo shoot complete. We were able to capture the birthday girl at her hammiest self while also capturing some super cute and candid shots of her big sis! Family sessions can be set up for a combination of both family and milestone photographs and are welcome all through the year!
